Hi,
I'm a new member of the forum, and a new Tivo user. I encountered a term a few times, but can't seem to figure it out -- "Weakness Embiggened"? I figure it's an expression that refers to something else -- a little tongue in cheek perhaps, but I'm not getting it.
Thank you in advance for shedding any light on this.
Cheers,
Skymom
I just searched the entire forum for "Weakness Embiggened" and all I found was the previous post. Thus I would have to say this term is one introduced by skymom for some unknown purpose. :p
Did your husband launch a balloon last week? :D

Too funny!!
I did a search on it too, and nothing popped up, but I saw it referenced in the Comcast Cablecard thread. I'll see if I can locate the reference, but sorry for the goofy question.
Cheers,

I found the post where I saw the term, but I need 5 posts to be able to post the link -- this is post 5. I'll put the link in my next post...

See, I wasn't imagining things.. (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?p=7493969#post7493969) -- look under "Current Hardware".

I'm pretty sure that it means that the "embiggened" TiVo has an expanded hard drive in it that was purchased from Weaknees. The other is stock.

just in the sense that the original poster of the term "weakness embiggened" was being silly in his word choice to put a little fun in a long post. It is not a common term in the Forum though - just something the poster came up with.

Correct quoting of "weaknees" (instead of "weakness") in the first post would have made a big difference! ;)

Without much trouble this could become part of the TCF lexicon, like "4 or 5 times" and "no sold".
It's already in Google (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&hs=9JY&q=%22weakness+embiggened%22&btnG=Search&aq=f&oq=&aqi=).
I'm more intrigued by "Ding Dong School", however...but it's from before my time.

I don't understand the confusion. It's a perfectly cromulent phrase.

Please, no cursing on this forum!
