My brother want his own blockbuster account on his tivo. So if he made a tivo account for his tivo will mrv still work?

No. They have to be on the same account.

Not sure you can set up a different Blockbuster account.

It can be done, but it is not worth it. Too much of a hassle to switch between Blockbuster Accounts. Why not have one brother use Blockbuster, and the other Amazon or Netflix (if you use a S3/HD model)?

Multiple Blockbuster.com accounts
You must choose one primary BLOCKBUSTER account when linking to your TiVo account. You can make changes to your choice of BLOCKBUSTER accounts at any time by:
1. Canceling the link for the first account at Blockbuster.com.
2. Performing the linking process for the new BLOCKBUSTER account and your TiVo account.
NOTE: Remember to Re-Link Accounts. When a new BLOCKBUSTER account is selected, any videos rented through the previous Blockbuster account will continue to use the licenses issued under the previous account. Those licenses will not be released until the new BLOCKBUSTER account is re-linked with your TiVo account.
