Hey gang,

Some months ago I posted on here about the issues I was having with audio "chipmunking" using Netflix with my Tivo HD using the HDMI connection and the problem was not able to be resolved.

Many people including myself thought the problem was with the TV and how it was dealing with the signal from the Tivo. However, after buying a Blu Ray with BD Live 2.0 and trying Netflix again, I figured out the problem lies within the Tivo. Netflix works just fine with my TV and Blu Ray connection but still "chipmunks" with the Tivo HD.

I know this will sound strange but I believe it is the audio signal the Tivo is sending to the TV not the TV not working with Netflix. Hope that makes sense.

To sum it up, the delivery device is what matters not the TV you use.

Are you sure you're getting the same encoding with your Blu-Ray as with the TiVo? Netflix has 3 or 4 different encodings of its shows that it sends out depending on the type of the receiver. So unless we know it's the same encoding, I don't think it's been shown that it's not Netflix.
