I want to record the new series V on NBC but when I look to set it up it is not avaialable because it starts in November.

Anything I can do to record this or do I have to wait until it shows up on Tivo?

I wish there was a reminder feature to let me know to record a program that is not showing up yet in the Tivo search.

The only way I know is to set up a recording by tiime and channel.

Why not set it up as a wishlist recording?

I never used a wish list? Not even sure what it is or does.

Set up a wishlist. A title wishlist for V will include movies like Krammer vs Krammer. Set up an auto-record wishlist, Title V add actor Elizabeth Mitchell as an additional criteria. You can also specify HD if you want.

It looks like you can do a lot of things there, but setting up a wishlist is not one of them.

But doing that with the tivo when you get home should be simple.

sometimes the tivo search on the box has programs that aren't currently in the guide. If so it will help you set up a wishlist. (although it might actually do it for just one episode at a time...)
