In case you aren't watching your mailings, Time Warner in Southeast Wisconsin/Milwaukee area is doing a full channel rebuild next week on 10/13. Based on the most recent thread regarding TWC in the Dayton area, I'm very uneasy about this going through without issues. This thread is to track the progress/issues as it occurs.
As a pre-emptive measure, I submitted a lineup issue request to Tivo to hopefully get the ball rolling...

Thanks for the proactive approach with TiVo. Like you, I'm nervous after reading about all the issues in the Dayton area. Although, unlike a lot of other Cable Card/Tuning Adapter users I have had a problem-free experience. I'm hoping my luck holds (did I just jinx myself?)!

A friend of mine had this switch on Friday (Appleton area) and had no problems. He just redid the portion of guided setup that asks you about "is this channel correct?" and everything remapped properly.

The channel guide here in Kenosha was not updated. I didn't think to just change the Channel Lineup in the Guided Setup. Instead, went through all of the Guided Setup process. Now, in the Getting Setup Info screen we have made it all the way to the Loading Info screen. It has been "Preparing to load for about 45 minutes. Not sure if it's hung up or if this part really takes this long. Regardless, work is calling. I'll let it run and check it at lunchtime. If not progress, I'll reboot and try again. *fingers crossed*

I was able to go to the Channel setup and press Enter to indicate that it was the wrong lineup. This asked me a few questions about what channel was what, and it is now downloading new guide data.

I redid guided setup earlier this morning, and the guide data looks right. However, the "To Do list" is still showing all the old channel numbers, but when I go in the guide and select the program, it asks me if I want to Record As Planned.

Youse guys might benefit from reviewing the Southwest Ohio lineup change thread (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?p=7459780#post7459780). For example this post:

Which is TiVo's instructions for doing a "portion of guided setup". Obviously you substitute your correct values for zip code, lineup, etc.
The entire process takes almost an hour, although 45 mins on just the "preparing" phase, seems longer than normal.
You can see what lineups are available for your zip code by going to zap2it.com, clicking "TV Listings", then click "Change my location", enter your zip code.

Same here. Hoping it'll correct itself like other Season Pass type changes.

I just went ahead and recreated all the season passes. I had a few minutes, and only about 13 season passes.

Hope I don't have to do that to my 100+ SPs.

My season passes seem to have updated themselves. I'm seeing new channel numbers on the To Do list.

One issue I noticed is that Nickelodeon on channel 110 isn't coming in. (Called NIKP by the Tivo). The other instance on channel 56 is ok.
Nevermind: this is one of a few channels that are now optional.

After completing the full guided setup (I didn't think to just update the channel list) everything appears to be correct. The channel guide is accurate. Every channel I've tuned to has come in and my Season Passes all mapped correctly. We did see more pixelating on DisneyHD last night than we are used to...hopefully that isn't a sign of things to come. Otherwise everthing seems good!

Lots of duplicate channels now...not sure the rationale behind having soooo many options but I'll update the channels that show up and hopefully be done with this process.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the duplicate channels everywhere. Plus, when it redid my season passes, it often picked the channel number I didn't intend. (For example, HBOHD shows are now recording on 602 instead of 1603).

Well, one thing I like about it is that I could go and turn off virtually all of the analog tier, and go digital only. There are only a handful of channels on the analog tier not duplicated in the digital tier. Like you, though, I still need to go and turn off the non-HD versions of the channels I get in HD. That will be somewhat more of a project.
Yea, whats up with having more than one digital channel listed for some stations? Just makes me think that TW is trying to make it appear that they offer more channels than they do. I can't see much of a difference in picture quality between most analog channels and its digital channels. I will be watching almost all HD anyways so the digital line up doesn't matter to me.

I didn't read the letter nor the new channel guide closely enough to realize they were changing everything around. Even so, I figured the TiVo would just switch to the new lineup since the old one is going away and the tuning adapter has all the info necessary to determine the channel lineup anyway. Nope.
Result: 2 missed shows. 1 ticked off (pregnant) wife.
