I got what I have, guide data up to channel 999, by selecting North Dayton as the cable provider (I am really in South Dayton). But nothing from 1000 up has data... and this is all the HD content.

I read the thread on the TW Massive Line Change to know to select the North Dayton provider, but don't see how to address this issue with channels 1000 and higher.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I'm in the North Dayton area and I have to select North Dayton Digital Rebuild.

There's no reason to expect a North Dayton lineup to work in another area other than pure luck and coincidence.

Go to zap2it.com, click on TV Listings, then click on "Change my location". This will allow you to view all the possible lineups that TiVo could select.

After deciding what lineup you want, follow the instructions (from TiVo) in ***this post*** (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?p=7467467#post7467467)(substituting values appropriate to you), to perform what they call a "portion of guided setup". And be prepared to wait a long time, almost an hour typically.

I did do this except didn't reference zap2it.com. From it I see Time Warner Cable South Dayton - Digital Rebuild (Kettering), which looks like the best match for me (I live in Kettering and am guessing the Digital Rebuild is the right choice).

I believe to make this selection I have to answer "no" several times when I am asked to verify specific channels - is this correct?

Edit - I am through some of the process and am not presented with Time Warner Cable South Dayton - Digital Rebuild (Kettering) - only Time Warner Cable Dayton City or Time Warner Cable South Dayton. I guess I will select "None of the Above" and see what happens.

Ok, that didn't work - for zip coe 45419, all I am getting is the two selections above. With the North Dayton zip code (45315) I did get a rebuild selection... which again worked for everything below 1000.

Bottom line - zap2it.com lists more cable lineups than I get via Tivo guided set-up?

Any ideas?

Try a different zip code near you. People sometimes have to use an incorrect zip code to get correct results.

This problem sounds very familiar. You might want to search the August 25th thread for "south dayton" and PM one of those people to see what zip code works.

Well I thought I had it solved, but turns out that now the guide data is correct for the channel, but channel itself is wrong. For example, the guide properly displays channel 330 as the Outdoor Channel, but the channel 330 is actually displaying the Big Ten channel.

I guess I will try some adjacent zip codes - what a PIA!

Any other ideas would be appreciated.

If your channels don't match the lineup brochure TWC mailed out then you have a beef with TWC. The only valid change I know of is that the Noggin channel is now some other kids channel.

Seems by selecting an adjacent zip code, my problem is solved. However, even in selecting this other zip code, I wasn't presented with a cable provider/build that was different than using my own zip code. I ended up just selecting the other cable provider/build. So in the ended, probably could have used my own zip code during set-up and selected this other build.

Doesn't make sense.
