Showing Tivo on a second tv question?

We have 2 fully functional tivos that can share through our network. I would like to set up my child's tv to be able to watch what we have recorded on the tivos. I can access our network from her room. I was wondering if I purchased a basic tivo but not the monthly service if this would work for tranfering through our network to this basic tivo? Is there another way that is easy?

Also there are systems available for similar transmission using cat5 cables.

I just run my TiVo's RF out to other TVs, and use a UHF remote relay to control the TiVo from said other TVs.
