New channels disappear from guide after tuning to them

Hey all,

I am having a strange problem. My setup is TiVo HD with dual cablecard and the cisco tuning adapter. Brighthouse just added about a dozen new HD channels to the lineup. I can see and select them in the channel list setup and then in the guide when on live tv. I can select and change to the new channels fine and they display but when I pull up the guide again they are no longer there. I can go back to the channel lsit setup and they are still there but now unselected. Repeat process same thing happens.

Anyone else having this problem and know how to fix.

Are you getting good guide data (e.g., program descriptions) before it disappears?

I vaguely remember this happening to me at some point when I was first getting my setup (identical to yours except Time Warner cable) going.

All I can suggest now is keep forcing connections to mother TiVo and after doing that a few times, reboot the TiVo and then the Tuning Adapter.

The changes are not saved unless you click "OK."

Many new TiVo users modify their channel list or favorites and then just press the back button or some other menu, thinking their changes will be saved.

Verify that you have the 11.0d software on the System Information screen, too. Changes to the Channel List screen did not always take immediate effect under some earlier versions.
