Old Tvio, new visual problem

I have had great success for five years with my Tivo, but now whether I watch live TV, a DVD, or a recorded program, I get a lot of "flipping" with the video. Could this be a cable or box probem? Thank you.

What kind of TiVo do you have? If it's a DVD TiVo unit, try that forum in this community.

If by using the word "flipping" you are referring to a "jumpiness/jerkiness" in the video, I experience that in every episode recorded of "Merlin" over the Summer, on a TiVo HD unit. I never noticed the problem during other recordings.
