I'm not talking about on my recorder; I'm talking about searching on the TiVo website. I cannot find, for example, NCIS: Los Angeles, The Forgotten, or The Good Wife, scheduled to premiere 9/22, less than 10 days from now. It also cannot find Mercy, Eastwick, Modern Family, or Cougar Town, scheduled to premiere 9/23.

That's odd. I just tried searching for the shows you mentioned and they all appear for me.
Maybe they saw your post and just added them? :p

I have had this happen a couple times. It is almost an issue where the Tivo hasn't synced in a while. I found sometimes shows would be available to set for one Tivo but not another from the website. Usually it fixed itself over night, but also might have happened since I sent request for other shows I could request.

Still not showing up for me. "There are no episodes of .... available to record on the ..... DVR."
They may load data for Dallas and Boston at different times. Either that or something is broken.
This is on the website; not on my DVR.

No something is definitely broken on the website, as it pertains to my specific account. There is no problem on my DVR. I have all the program guide data going out until the 27th. I was able to set up all my recordings that way. But the website isn't finding them, via search, and when I try to navigate to them via the grid, I get a prompt to download a file, instead of being able to request the recording.
Is there a way to switch back to the regular TiVo search on the website? I think I might be using the beta.

I seem to remember that a VCM connection was important. When was your last VCM connection and when is the next scheduled one? Though I think you are right concerning the web site. I think this VCM thing really had to do with your online ToDo list and NPL though.
I feel like I am giving advice to a TiVo Tutor.....

I haven't checked, but that has got to be the problem. I rebooted (deliberately) this morning, so maybe that fixed things. I'll keep an eye on it.
I don't think NCIS-LA and the Good Wife showed up in my tivo guide data until the last day or two. I wonder if Tribune and tivo are just a few days behind.

Rebooting fixed everything, but of course the big test is a week or two from now.... that I shouldn't have to reboot to "fix" everything again.

Rebooting worked for me when I had a similar problem. I would still check your next scheduled VCM connection - it should be in the future. If it is not, the problem is not fixed or is back (assuming that was actually part of the problem).

Yeah, that'd be irritating!
