View Full Version : Jaman free movie problem

The last couple of weeks I have tried to download the free Jaman move of the week, and after I put in my pin number a message comes up "Sorry, an error occurred while processing the request. Please try again later". I have been able to download in the free movies in the past. Anyone else having this problem. Thanks in advance!!

yup... here, too. Same error.
Thx for posting that it worked at one time. Good to know there's a chance of getting this feature working.

I did notice that it said "Tivocast error"... so I'm guessing (total shot in the dark) that it's not Jaman's fault. I'm also guessing this to be true because the error came up so quickly... felt like a Tivo set top box error (it never had a chance to get out to the net and get an error back from Jaman).

Ah... I didn't mention that I've only tried for the last 2 days or so (since 9/4/09)... and I've never tried it before now.

Yep, I've been getting the error since Friday but have not tried it in the past few weeks before.

I called the Tivo support and they told me it was a Jaman issue and contact Jaman. I haven't done that, but I can use the Jaman website to download the freebie to my Tivo 2. I also noticed they have not updated the printed info on the first screen on the Tivo inteface for Jaman Free Movie of the week. It is about 3 movies behind.
I did email Jaman to ask why we can watch so many more streaming movies free but only 1 free movie to Tivo. Never got a reply yet. I wish there was some way to watch streaming video with the Tivo rather than hooking your TV to the PC and making your TV the PC screen.
