Comcast Digital Voice & Tivo

Hi. I have never posted on this forum before, so I apologize if this topic has been posted somewhere else. I couldn't really find what I was looking for, so someone can direct me there if they know where I should go.

So, I just switched to Comcast internet and digital voice. I have a Tivo Series 2 dual tuner. I just wanted to verify that the only way for my Tivo to work would be to hook it up wirelessly right? Which means I need to go and buy one of the Tivo wireless adapters?

I currently have my laptop wirelessly configured using a Linksys WRT54G. Thank you in advance for any help in getting my Tivo up and running. Hopefully, I can figure it out of the weekend so I won't miss any of my programs scheduled during the week.

Wireless is the alternative if you're not in the position to run hard-wired Cat-5 - which would be my preference. The S2DT has a built-in RJ-45 ethernet port.
