Even though it has been known for a week or more that the Bengals v. Colts preseason game WOULD NOT be a sellout, and therefore WOULD be blacked out locally, the GUIDE still shows NFL Preseason on the local CBS affiliate from 7:30 PM - 10:30 PM.

The same thing happened last week (see Dolfer's post below which I should simply have Replied to rather than starting a new thread) and we missed Big Bro and Russell's eviction. Wonder why the guide data was never updated either week.

JPA, I think there is a problem in the chain!

Similar to why those affected by the massive channel change lineup had to fend for themselves and use a "rebuild" lineup.

Someone, somewhere along the chain is messing up! Tivo? Time Warner? or Tribune? I don't know enough about the process to know for sure! ;)

The networks give the info to Tribune which sells it to Tivo, right? So the networks would be the ones at fault.... err, maybe the local stations?

But even though I sometimes have issues with the Tivo guide data (e.g. Daily Show in years past), for some reason I'll give them more slack in this case. Each area would have to know it was not blacked out, and send out its own new guide data, right?
