Kevin is an idiot! Why tip your hand to Jeff??? Put up either of the others and then let Jeff skate through the Veto thinking he didn't need to try hard and then backdoor him! No matter who won the veto, he would get the opportunity to change the nominations!

Right. And at the same time make it seem like the deal was still on.
I liked that Michelle didn't want anyone seeing her cry.

I cant believe Jeff would really think that Kevin or Natalie wouldn't put him up. Hes probably the only one in the house that could lock up all the jury votes.
This seasons cast pretty much sucks. I respect Kevin's move. It's the only way to ensure someone from the other side goes home. Unless Jordan wins PoV, then Natalie would have to go up.

That would be great if Jordan won Veto. Not only would Natalie have to go up, but Jeff and Jordan would be able to vote Natalie out. How great would that be that Kevin wins the HOH and Natalie is the person who ends up going home?

What if the final 2 consist of some combination of Kevin, Natalie, or Jordan. None of them have done much to deserve to win, but they could end up winning. The one thing I hate about BB (and Survivor) is that the people most deserving to win get evicted because they deserve to win (because people know they couldn't beat them in the final two).
Unless you can dominate every competition down the end, then it pays to be mediocre.

It was fun to see Kevin play Jeff like a fiddle. I am shocked that Kevin made such brilliant choices. The only way it can back fire is if Jordan win POV which is remote. Any other move and other players could mess it up by winning POV.

This is the scenario that Kevin had to avoid by putting up Jeff. He tried to explain that to him.

I don't get all the hate for Michelle in the house. What did she do to the other HGs?

She didn't do anything... it was kevin that made it all up...

Yes, we know you enjoyed it. ;) All kidding aside, as much as I would like to see Jeff win, Kevin made a great move, just a move too soon. I was entertained by Jeff getting "got." And as mentioned above, I think we're going to likely see a floater this year win it all. I don't like her, but I hope Natalie wins it all and I am actually pulling for a Jordan/Natalie matchup at his point. The two sorriest players FTW!

I have a feeling Jeff or Jordan will leave this week. There is no way Jordan can win POV and if it's a memory type contest I don't see Jeff winning. My vote goes to Michelle in the final 2 against Natalie.

It was a good game move by Kevin, and I understand that lies are part of the game. I just hate the blatant ones.
Ouch.

I don't suppose a Jordan/Natalie final will make the producers change the game much, but it does give a lot of merit to the "do nothing" strategy.

So it would actually be better for Jeff if he loses the veto and Jordan wins. If Jeff wins veto, Jordan is going home. So if the veto competition is something like who gets the most balls in a bucket he needs to throw all his balls in Jordan's bucket!
If Gnat or Kevin win ill be pissed. Talk about no game playing. Gnat has been a leach the whole game. She never made a move on her own. Kevin is about in same boat

Timing is important in this game.

Huh?
Well, the only "winners" in this game are all gone(except for Jeff, and his situation looks pretty bleak), there are no real "masterminds" to root for, why not root for the best floater ever? :D

Especially when a guy you're rooting for falls for it hook-line-sinker. Oh, well. This season has been great, and like other seasons, (even the good ones,) the ending is going to be somewhat boring and anti-climactic. Even if Jeff goes home, he provided me the Big Brother entertainment I enjoy: An underdog taking down the bad guy.

I dont think it matters if Jeff trusted them or not.
If he had left them up, Gnat would be gone. So Kevin or Russell would have won HoH. If Kevin won, He probably would have put up Jeff and Jordan. He would have feared Russells yelling.
If Russell won, you know he would have put up Jeff and Jordan.
So either way, Jeff was going to have to win this week to stay. I would have rather competed against Gnat and Kevin as well.

I completely agree with this, but having this "lie" that Nat and Kevin concocted be the catalyst for how it turned out was, as a Jeff fan, pretty disappointing. I follow the live feeds and, during the week Jeff was HOH, there really wasn't much proof to show that he would have backdoored Russell without the "lie" they planted. I was hoping for just one "well, if Nat and Kevin are lying, it's still the best move," but I don't think it ever happened.

The POV competition will be interesting. If it is a competion where there is any way for Jeff and Jordan to work together at all, that would smell of too much producer involvement. I like Jeff and Jordan, but they need to win on their own merits. On the other hand, if it was a competition like that, Nat, Kevin and Michelle could work together too. I hope it can only be done individually.

How much of "him falling for the lie" is in the editing though. He didnt seem to shocked or appalled when he was put on the block.

The lie may or may not have worked on it's own, but the truth is Michele was throwing Russel under the bus the whole week and told J/J the exact same non-lie. She bashed him for several days, trying to keep herself closer to Jeff than Russel. Later she decided to try and save him, but the damage had been done, and it's one of those things that make Michele look shady and a little crazy to her housemates.

You and I are on the same page.
Yes, Jeff was screwed and going to be on the block almost no matter what. It just sucks that the floaters lied to him so blatantly and will be using that in their final 2 speech if they make it that far.
Pretty lame win if the best you can say is you lied to someone.
My wife and I were thinking how sore they must have been after the chocolate/marshmallow challenge. Good thing Jordan didn't bust a boob.

I think they need to somehow get rid of the 'back dooring'. Still have a veto competition, but maybe the veto winner gets to pick the new nominee.
