How do I record for 6-7 hours and have it be one file? I want to record the Kennedy funeral, etc... I want it to be one file but the listings have many different shows. Tivo only allows me to record + 3 hours past the end of a program. What/how to do this?

Use Setup Manual Recording under Record by Time/Channel.
