Well, sort of. It happens on Curb Your Enthusiasm this season.

The story line, which starts in episode 3, is sprinkled over five of the season’s 10 episodes as Larry recruits the cast, then plans and tapes the big Seinfeld reunion (viewers will see a few scenes of the Seinfeld reunion episode on Curb).

This part is kind of a downer

While this strange trip may not be the reunion scenario that fans expected, both Seinfeld and David agree that it’ll be the only one viewers will ever get. “As far as I’m concerned, we did do it, and in a better way than I ever imagined,” says Seinfeld. “This exceeded my expectations, so there’s no chance I would revisit it now.”

I know most of the reunion shows really suck, but I keep holding out hope there will be more Seinfeld one day.

I think this is the perfect way to do a reunion. Honestly, the way Seinfeld wound down, it was good they ended it and not come back. This will have the hand of David in it, and the cross between the Seinfeld show and CYE should be a sweet match.

Only the last episode of Seinfeld was a let-down, I would not say it "wound down" in a bad way. Hell, the second to last episode was "Puerto Rican Day", one of the best episodes in the series. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seinfeld_%28season_9%29

Larry David mentions in the EW article the one thing he's like to have changed in the finale, and it is the thing I hated the most about it - the way the gang reacted to the mugging was completely inconsistent with their normal behavior. He says he should have made them act cowardly instead of nonchalantly, and that would have made a big difference IMO.

I read the article in EW, I LOVED the new Seinfeld apartment! And yeah, this is a cool way to do a reunion of sorts.

I can't wait for this season of Curb, it will be great. :)

I guess the last season is a matter of opinion, and the more I watch it, I kind of like the last episode now, especially the courtroom scene where the old antagonists come back. But I thought most of the last season was lame. I never like George's job with the Smoothing company, and Elaine's relationship with Puddy was just stupid. And the backwards Indian episode may rank up there with one of the worst TV experiments of all time. There were definitely moments I enjoyed that last season, but as a whole, it didn't come close to the prime LD/JS collaberated seasons.

That's pretty cool that the old sets were still hanging around somewhere...
