Pretty interesting show. They follow lottery winners around and show how their lifes have changed....for the better or worse. The episode I watched had everything from a guy who won season tickets to the RedSox for life, to a guy in TX who won $49mill.

I found the one scene kind of sad where the guy who won $49 mill said he would come out to his car and there would be sticky notes on it saying "please pay my electric bill", "they are going to shut my water off if I can't pay $48"....etc etc. I'm sure that would be hard to deal with on a constant basis. He thought about leaving his small hometown but that is where he grew up and wanted to live. Eventually he had to move away though.

I watched a late night repeat of this a few weeks ago...it was the one with the college student who lost half of it in the economic downturn and later changed his major so he could better manage his money.

I quite enjoyed it, though I personally don't understand why people decrying their lack of privacy would appear on a nationally televised program.

Do they also show all the poor people who don't have enough money because they wasted it all gambling on the lottery?

You can see those people on Jerry Springer.

I'm still enjoying this show. It's nice to see how grounded some of these people are. It's also nice to see stories of people winning much smaller amounts than just the gigantic ones!
