Just ordered my Tivo HD today and was wondering if it offers a Zoom/Stretch feature like a cable HD box offers? I have a 65" widescreen and would like to fill the screen top to bottom and side to side. If so, is it a button on the remote or do I have to keep diving into a Tivo settings menu to zoom and un-zoom? Thanks in advance.

There is a button on the remote called "Aspect" that toggles this feature. I'm personally not a fan of it, and those few times I need to use it I prefer to use the TV's own stretch/zoom feature.

Yes, but if the set (like my now ancient Pio Elite 510) has no ability control aspect in anything other than 480i mode, its useful. I use it mainly in "panel" for full screen SD programs to maintain the correct AR and avoid the stretch. I also occassionally use the "zoom" mode when a SD channel is showing something window-boxed (i.e. 16:9 or 2.35:1 in a 4:3 frame) to utilize the entire screen, but be aware PQ in this mode can be a bit dodgy and is very source dependent.
I just wish it worked for HD signals, but it doesn't so anytime a network shows 4:3 content incorrectly (stretched) inside a HD picture, you can't use it. In those cases I just go to the SD channel (I have FIOS which carries an SD channel for all HD ones offered) where I can use the aspect control if necessary.

Thanks for the info guys. My current cable remote offers it, as does my TV remote. Just hope I'm not tap dancing between the two for everything.
