Hi everyone. I need to tap into your vast wealth of knowledge as I can't figure out this missing channel scenario I'm up against. A brief history: I get my reception from an outside antenna and get spectacular reception and locals in HD etc.. on four TV's in my home. In my home theater room I have my Tivo series 3 feeding my plasma, and I have 1 channel blacked out, while the same channel on the 3 other TV's comes in perfectly on those sets. My signal strength when checked on the Tivo receiver, says I'm getting peak 98 reading. I went to channel list and it shows as "checked", and parental controls is "off". What else can I check or look for, any ideas? I also rescanned my channels. I haven't done a reset. Thanks for any ideas.

I suggest that you unpug the Tivo, wait 30 sec. and plug it in again. If that does not fix it I think you will have to call Tivo support.

You can try running Guided setup again, rerun channel scan. but what you should do 1st is to go to the channel list, and check the channel in question, note the frequency, it may have changed recently as of june 12th.
Do you have a duplicates of the same channel only different frequencies. Check all the duplicate channels in question, go to live TV and see which one has picture, then go back and uncheck the others.

I read about this yesterday in another thread.
OTA loses only one channel (http://tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=431421)
This might be the same thing

scsiguy72, Thanks for that helpful link, I followed it all through out and I think this is what I'm experiencing. I may have to contact Tivo for the fix.. BTW, do I simply find a customer service number on the website for Tivo help?

Supra...What City/Area do you live in? I am beginning to wonder how widespread this is.
