Funnily enough i had tried this the other day but the guy who answered had never heard of TIVO??????

This time he had, i did explain what happened last time, and was told yes sometimes the SKY people answer and they dont always know what they are talking about, I told him i disagree as far as SKY are concerned the words "dont" and "always" should be in a different order !

I just thought I would point out that due to a disagreement with my previous home phone line supplier (yourcalls.net) I have just moved my phone line to Post Office Homephone (but not my broadband as P O Homephone broadband is rubbish as it supplied by BT) where I will be enjoying free evening and weekend 0845 calls and also only have to give 14 days notice to move on if I get fed up with them.

This means I should now be able to even ring up and have a chat with blindlemon, who I have only ever communicated electronically with up to now, on his shiny new 0845 phone number, although he will be relieved to hear that the maximum free call period is limited to 60 minutes.;):D

However the same will not be true of the Sky Tivo customer service centre where calls will cost 5p per minute at all times plus an 8p connection fee on their new 0844 number. Whereas had Sky retained the 0870 number for Tivo customer services these calls would now have come out of any inclusive minutes in my home phone line calls package.:down:
