I just purchased a HD TiVo box and went to Comcast to get a Multi-stream card or two single stream cards. I was informed they only have Multi-stream cards. Plugged it in and went through setup....TiVo box said it was a single stream card. Wife went back to Comcast...left without card since they insisted it was a Multi-stream card. Went back to Comcast to get a second card. Plugged it in...viola...it's a multi-stream card. But alas...many channels didn't show up. Called Comcast...made appointment for service...no show..no call. Multiple calls and emails to Comcast...they'd have to send a technician out...even though I couldn't figure out what a technician could do, since it seems everything is controlled by the office. Kept calling and finally got a call from a Cablecard guru who fixed it all in a few minutes. All that to say that if you have having Comcast problems keep "Dialing for Channels." There is someone out there who can fix it.
