I just upgraded my old TIVOHD Hard Drive for a new one and it works like a champs.
I went from a 160 GB WD160 to a new WD10EACS without a hiccup. The Western Digital was actually in a VOX V1 external enclosure and I took it out to use as my new HD in the TIVO.
I followed the MSF Tool instruction HERE (http://tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=370784) but I did have a problem. I had information on the WD10EACS, so I just quick formatted in explorer. I couldn't get the drive to be recognized when I wanted to MSFcopy.I used the "Format Delete" in MSF on the WD10EACS but it wasn't working. The one thing that I forgot to do was REBOOT after Deleting format. After I rebooted, everything went like the guide said it would, the TIVO is sitting with a new 1TB internal HD.
