I have a Tivo drive with a lot of recordings, which I messed up and caused not to be bootable. I was wondering if I can add it to the Tivo as a B drive, and watch the recorded shows. The unit is HDVR2. Sorry if this is a dumb question.
Thanks!

Nope. Once you add a drive to the mix it essentially wipes out the partition structure and rebuilds it, resulting in the loss of any recordings.

That wasn't quite the answer I was hoping for, but thanks for the response.

If it is just the boot you could use MakeTiVoBootable. Search found this Need boot sector, or MakeTivoBootable (booted to XP!) (http://tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=117404) thread
