I am trying to upgrade HDR 112 to a single 320 GB drive. Will the instructions online work with the LBA48 Boot Disk/CD if I do a copykern at the end of the backup/restore/upgrade process? I want to install a hard-drive >137GB -- is that feasible for a series 1 with capacity restriction?
Is there a way to know if a hard-drive will be compatible with the DVR or not? I was thinking of using either the Maxtor DiamondMax 10 160GB PATA133 (Code BAH41E00) or if >137gb is a possibility for a Series 1 unit then I'd like to upgrade to a Western Digital Caviar Blue 320GB EIDE (Model WD3200JBRTL).

Based on another thread here it looks like the WD Blue won't work with my Series 1...
