hmmm...ok...the comedy interplay was a little too forced with the exception of the car trick...
I was hoping that at this point, we would get something different than "go find the strange object" theme...
and, since I'm on a roll, I know how I'm going to die: I will watch a show or a movie where the local cop welcomes the highly trained professionals and offers them every courtesy and help...when that happens, I will drop dead from shock
thread crapping on my own thread, I know...but I was really hoping for more...

Well, remember the ending and the "B" plot (which looks like it is going to be the "A" plot of next weeks episode). We've had, what 4 episodes? To a certain extant you need to establish what is "normal" for the universe so that you understand how bad it is when the "Big evil" thing comes along.
And did anyone else notice that CCH Pounder was credited with a guest star role in that episode? Did I miss her, or was she left on the cutting room floor?

Maybe the credit was due to her appearance in the "coming next week" preview. As I recall (very vaguely), someone quips something to the effect of:
"Is it really going to be that bad?"
CCH: "Think about where we work."
"Oh... yeah."

Promos are separate entities done by the network and has no bearing on credits in episodes.
Are you sure she was listed as a guest star? I think she's regular cast, in which case she gets a credit in every episode of the season whether or not she appears in it.

It must not say much when I find Leena the most compelling character. Artie (Saul) should have stuck with making documentaries of SG-1, or kidnapping Data. I'll still give it a coule more weeks, but there really isn't anything compelling about it.
If they might digress into why Artie needed two agents just now, I might be interested. Did he have none before and merely decided he needed a couple now, or did he have two and they died during a mission? Something!?

IIRC, in the pilot it's mentioned that Artie had recently lost a couple of agents and was thus recruiting.

This episode reminded me of a movie that I saw on UK tv a good while back.
'Woman returns to her home town with her partner to find the townsfolk going about their days without inhibitions, eventually the partner begins to lose his inhibitions, leaving her the only one affected.' Now that that movie is in my head, of to make another thread to find out what it was.

@#$% SyFy (psyphi? Cyfie? Siifii?) cut off the ending! I guess they were too busy coming up with another retarded name change to notice they were off schedule.

Well that explains it. At least it was understandably delayed by of a live sporting event. Yes, that was sarcasm!

It's a known issue, Eureka (which had that time slot until this mid-season) was always dogged by the known overrunning of ECW.

SyFy. It looks like Sci-Fi, but it's not really. :D

This show is kinda weird, but I'm sticking with it for a few to see if it evens out the rough spots. I'm liking Artie's character, but only to a point. Some of the interaction between Pete and Myka seems forced down our throats, like they are trying too hard to show us what we're supposed to be feeling their relationship and work ethics and attitudes are like.

I think you might be referring to this (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087464/) movie. It had some big name actors.
The metal springs in the chair and the sound of the priest's voice drive people crazy, okay. And the goo didn't work, so a fire ax did the trick?

Yeah, but HOW did he lose them?

If I remember right it was three agents. One agent died horribly. One agent was in an asylum for the insane, and a third had disappeared, as Artie said "I'll find him sometime." I got the impression that he had disappeared somewhere in the warehouse. In fact, at first, I thought the hacker was going to be him trying to get out of wherever he was.

The goo didn't work at first because it didn't soak through the fabric down into the springs. Chopping it up exposed the springs to the goo and broke the pattern of the coils, stopping the amplification.
My take on it, anyway. :)

We missed the end also since we were recording too much stuff to get it at 9:00. But we still thought it was a very funny episode, love the flying nun stuff, and the punch in the nose stuff.
So does anyone else think there is more to the Inn owner than just a helper? I have a feeling that she is a object, but that's just me I guess. and whats with the hacker?
I hope the show sticks around.

As I wrote last week, something is missing. The babe is hot, but the show is flat.

Actually, the babe is kind of flat, too.
Not that there's anything wrong with that...she's definitely hot...but the scene where the guy was staring at her chest this week seemed very odd and out of place, considering what he was staring at. It made me wonder if they had already written this far into the show before they cast the part.

It was driving me nuts ... I knew I knew Mack (the Unionville cop) from somewhere.
Then I placed him: Franco's girlfriend's mentally challenged brother from a few seasons' back on "Rescue Me." He was the one who was faking being "retarded" and supposedly had tourettes (and kept using the n-word).

I think she's pretty hot, actually. I don't think she's an object, but she has a "power" I guess. She can look at peoples' auras or something, and probably more than that.
I think she's the hacker, actually. Maybe she's looking to steal an object that can do something that she needs to revive a dead family member or something silly like that.
I'll keep watching; there aren't enough shows that I watch on right now, so it's a good enough alternative.

I think innkeeper may be the younger version of Mrs. Frederic or perhaps her daughter5 or grand-daughter. I also wonder if she has something to do with the leak in the warehouse. The show has its light moments of comedy and mystery, but could easily become boring and predictable. What is with the breast ogling and grabbing this summer. First Nurse Jackie and now in Warehouse.

I, too, figured the housekeeper was related to CCH Pounder's character.

Me too I just got that vibe in the pilot when they were talking out side about shelves and I think she said she didnt want to get involved.

Anyone think that she might BE CCH pounder's character flipping back and forth between ages? I don't know, but's it's kind of a weird, creepy idea.

I don't think so...or think that it's her when younger...we've seen a picture of her 50 years ago...she looked the same...she does not age...

But she must have been young once, she may have been flipping back and forth between the two 50 years ago. And we have never seen at the same time and sometimes she seems to be giving Artie directions.

Darn stupid wrestling!
I have to record the 10pm version and there's some stupid wrestling going on and the last TWO shows have been cut off because the damn wrestling match eats into the start time of Warehouse....argh.
On a lighter note, the show is pretty good...not great, but I still enjoy it enough to keep going.

If you have to record the 10:00 showing then just add 10 mins, wrestling is almost always going to run over.
