Hoping to get ep discussions out of the general thread about the show...

This show is really great...I like everything about it...

"young lady, do you know I have 1 year to live?"...and the father exclaiming that now he has something to talk about with her sister other than the kids was too funny...

This was not one of the more laugh out loud episodes, but I was amused by Veronica & Dad in the park.

"There's a whole protocol we have to follow. First we have to test it on a rat, then a bat, then for some reason a hat..."

"I think that started as a typo."

"Then a cat..."

'Ted is like the angle opposite the hypotenuse..he's always right." :)

Phil to Lem: "You said testees..." and the completely deadpan response, "hilarious."

I think this is the new Arrested Development. I laughed so much with this episode, I want to watch the whole show from the beginning again

'Ted is like the angle opposite the hypotenuse..he's always right." :)You can tell Phil really didn't go to MIT ;):D That's only true for 1 type of triangle

Edit: Oh, and the Veridian Dynamics commercial was a letdown this week. Not up to it's usual quality.

I don't know, it cracked me up. Then again, I was imagining corporate marketing types around the country watching it, thinking "I don't suppose we could..?"

This show slays me. Might just be the best thing on television. Of course, it's July. But even if it were October, it would be a candidate.

I didn't go to MIT either but what other triangle exists where there is a hypotenuse besides a right angle triangle?

:o embarrassing. I was so busy focusing on the fast that only right triangles had a right angle, that I misremembered the definition of hypotenuse.

(I remembered it was the longest side, and mistakenly thought that it was the longest side of any triangle. Oops)
Guess you can tell I didn't go to MIT either :D

We are not mad scientists, no matter what our bowling shirts say! :D

+1 on Veronica with her dad in the park-the frisbee tossing was exquisitely awkward, and watching them take their cues from the other "father-(not)-daughter" pair was hilarious! :p

That was my favorite line! Phil and Lem are hysterical. My favorite part of the episode was that conversation with them and Ted.

I've loved EVERY single one of the commercials!

They have been around for 50 years, and in that time MILLIONS of Americans have died!

I LOVE IT :D just WAAAAAY too funny

I liked the episode, but this was SO predictable.
