Just a FYI,

I just noticed that my season pass for "The Real Estate Pros" picked up a new episode tonight. Another new episode is coming next week.

Interesting that their first show in such a long time is labeled "Episode 4"! Maybe the first three were snoozers and they wanted to start with the drama.

Which cast of characters is this?

Richard Davis and Ginger and them?

That was one boring episode. They could find nothing better than the staged firing of the brother on which to base an episode? Perhaps the deal for, and construction on, the restaurant? More about how they are going to take advantage of the market? The issue with the brother would have been alright as a secondary issue (as other conflicts have been).

Richard Davis and Ginger and them?Yup.

I thought the ep was OK. It was weird that it just seemed to pick up like that.

The issue with the brother did seem oddly staged. I like this show, though, so I'll keep watching.

I wasn't surprised to see a lot of empty cubes in Trademark's office. It looks the same way in the office I work in. No pictures of a helicopter either.

Did brother John honestly think he could open a restaurant and do the Trademark job at the same time? Opening and running a restaurant seems like a job you spend 16 hours a day on, seven days a week. I guess he was just hoping to ride out that paycheck for as long as possible. It seemed like a lot to ask of his brother, no matter how long he's been working for him.

I wonder what the remaining episodes will cover. So far it has been the John Davis Builds a Restaurant show instead of "The Real Estate Pros."

I noticed that Ginger is now an executive producer on the show. There were rumors of a romantic relationship between them. I believe Richard has gotten a divorce from his wife recently.

Edit:

Looks like Richard and Ginger got married this past April.

I don't know why, but I figured she was older than 29... Sorry Ginger.

Wow!!!

They actually hid that relationship quite well, unless of course it happened all in the time between the "Flip This House" episodes and now.

Poor Ginger. She's a hottie with some brains. Richard already looks old and his "game" is just so tired. "We're the best", "I'm the smartest". Ugh, that would get old.

His wife and three kids probably hate this damn TV show.

Wow, people didn't see that they had a relationship? I always suspected that they did!

I guess now we know why he got a divorce. And why they drive in the same car to most job sites now. :)

Always thought they were an item.

I forgot about this. I mentioned it before I saw it coming back and then did not remember.

Seems like they are only rerunning the episodes one time right now, later that night/next morning. Also a 6:30pm time slot seems really weird.

Seems like TLC is not really behind this show, again.

Considering the content seems to be following the previous season of "Let's pat ourselves on the back", I can't blame TLC too much. It's definitely switched from a house flipping show where the people involved were amusing, to more of a reality tv show, ala Jeff Lewis.

In the latest episode my wife noticed that Ginger had a ring in one scene but then never saw it again. It is like they are trying to hide the fact they are married...which is strange since this has turned more into a reality show than a "fix'n'flip" show.

I can only assume that TLC is somehow contractually obligated to produce and air this show, because it seems they're just going through the motions. This last episode where Richard decided to renovate a house without the owner's consent was a story that has been told in a more entertaining way in previous seasons time and time again. I wonder how often guys like Bev accept a listing for a house without ever entering it. How can one possibly come up with honest comps without seeing the interior?

Richard railing against real estate speculators cracked me up. Hypocrite much? Everything he does is speculation. He thinks he can put $x into a property and get $x + y out of it.

The first 2 episodes were about opening a restaurant, not flipping houses. At least this last episode hd a little more to do with selling a house.
