Trivia that the writers expect the audience to know:
Timothy Whites was a chain of pharmacies throughout the United Kingdom until they were purchased by the chain "Boots" in 1968.

Is that the spoiler alluded to in the other thread?
If so, not quite up to the hype.

Spoilers in here? I guess not.
How does Jack come back from an internal bomb of that magnitude? He should be smithereens.
How could he have not felt a bomb that size in his gut?

OMG! Torchwood just gets better and better. I can't wait for tonight's installment.
To cheesesteak - I don't think it's a spoiler to mention something that has actually already aired. And I have the same questions.

Ok. I guess the dates in the title make it a spoiler thread.

But with one thread for the whole week it's going to be a nightmare to avoid spoilers of shows you haven't seen.
I thought EP1 was great and the ending really exciting.

I knew very little about this before it aired--just what was in the promo material on BBCA. I was really amazed when Jack got shot, and with who shot him. A lot of assumptions went out the window at that moment. I suppose some of you expected it, but I was not.
It certainly was a ride. I didn't have a chance to watch all the supplimental material. That will have to wait.

How very cool! Loved Jacks daughter not letting him expirement on his grandson.
It would have been nice to see some younger kids but I know it would be hard to film babies and toddlers standing still. Curious at what age the chanting would start, would a toddler who has only a few words chanted?

Anyone recongnize his daughter? Wasn't she the women that played the wife of the guy that thought he was Dr. Who on that episode a couple weeks ago. It was a show that they were trapped on a town with there 2 strange kids under witness protection. What the hell was the name of that town?
Bloody Hell! Now that's a start to a mini-series.
