Is it saying something that I care more about the relationship between Tucker and Libby than the one between Hank and Jill? It's been a foregone conclusion with Hank and Jill whereas I enjoy Tucker's geeky character and Libby's hypocondria.

Hank and Jill talking about their relationship or lack thereof during the ceremony seemed ridiculously rude and misplaced even for a T.V. show. Yeah, that's how shows do it but seriously?

On the whole, not to start a thread to dump on a show but it was another rather weak episode. I realize part of Hank's character is to use what he has but it just doesn't work as well as it does in Burn Notice.

Although this was great:

"Is that your Ferrari?"

"One of them, yeah." :D

Jill's lovely but I'm starting to see that she may be just as high-maintenance as the rich Hamptonites... :D

Tucker and Libby *are* adorable. Glad to see they're recurring characters.

So, wait -- dogs really can come down with MRSA? Or did they just make that up?

With some luck that is the end of the on again, off again thing for Jill and Hank... I'm most amused by the interaction between Evan and Divya. I know everybody hates Evan but I find myself laughing at him quite a bit.

I hope the editor stops using shots of a Jeep to fill in for the Geländewagen.

Nice to get paid with a $101K Tesla Roadster.

How does HankMed figgger the taxes on that?

They keep it as a company car and little brother declares the lease rate of a car like that as income.

He's a CPA, he should be able to figure it out.

LOL...I was just coming to post the same thing. In the first episode it was a Jeep (Liberty?) and at some point it changed the the Mercedes but they still use the Jeep shots sometimes.

I actually found myself disliking Divya more this week...

Would Divya hooking up with Evan prove to her parents that she is an adult and does not hold to their traditional ways? It sure seems to me to be heading that way, IMHO.

No, it would prove that she's an idiot.

That may be the smartest thing I have heard in a long time. Cause Evan surely is one, and with such a smart brother. Oy!

THANK YOU!! I was trying to tell my wife this. She originally drove the Jeep. Then all of a sudden its a Mercedes then they cut to the jeep again. Did the producers really think nobody would notice?

Favorite line of the week. About the dog getting "bark" Mitzvah. Today the dog will become a man :)

As for the relationship. It seems to me they are trying to build in a work vs. personal relationship between the two drs that never really appeared to be there, to build up a the sexual tension between them. Also to delay them becoming too close, otherwise it would be a boring relationship (if it's not already). I still like the show, but maybe getting a bit bored with the rich person's disease of the week.

Evan's and Divya are going to hook up. I just know it. I don't think the writers are good enough to not have them hook up. "Gee, wouldn't it be hilarious if the goof off kid brother and the ultra up tight assistant get into a relationship?" No.

If they ran three or four Jill-less episodes in a row, I wouldn't notice or care about her absence.

Whew, I thought it was just me. I thought maybe I missed some explanation for why she had two cars.

OK, but then the T&A quotient of this show would drop precipitously. But you have a point. Outside of her calling the county health department for no clear reason other than to disagree with Hank, I think her only other purpose in this episode was to look good in that dress.

Loved all the Bark Mitzvah lines. Sure, there were a lot of obvious puns, but they were cute. :)

This is what I commented on last week; my fear that the show is on the fast track to boring city.
It's funny, I was a big advocate of this show at first. But it's quickly wearing thin. The plots are predictable, the budding romance a cliche, and well... everyone knows how I feel about the brother :D. Divya is an interesting character, but can't carry the show. They need to get some creative writing going, and soon. Otherwise it's just the "medical event of the week", surrounded by the cloying brother and the never-quite-consummated romance.
On the plus side, Evan was tolerable this week, almost enjoyable. But as Evan gets better, Divya gets worse. On the minus side, now that the 'never-quite-consummated' romance has been put to bed, it's even more boring.

If this was prime time TV season, a show like this would get clobbered by even semi-decent competition. For summer fare, I can tolerate it, but better writing would certainly make it easier to justify the eyeball time I spend on this show.

Oh really! Mazel-Ruff?

When he gets so far out it pulls me out of the "suspension of disbelief" that these things depend on. Maybe because of my background, but him making a microscope out of a paper towel tube, jewelers loupe and duct tape, was just too much. The alignment necessary to make a microscope is just too specific for such a crude construction. I lost the rest of the episode because of that.

How stupid really are these people? "What are you doing looking through my purse?" The plausable answer would be something like, "Looking for a pen." or paperclip, or safety pin, or etc. If you're going to invade someone's private space, at least have a suitable alibi.

I'm done. The setup and premise were interesting enough, and the scenery for a while kept me hanging around, but this episode was ridiculous, stupid, and now I find Hank as annoying as his brother.

And whatever happened to Boris and his big shark? Maybe they will get back to it, but if so this was too much filler in between that plot line.

SP deleted. Thankfully Entourage and the Tour de France have kept me going.

Since it was in the teaser:

Boris and the shark are mentioned in the teaser for next weeks episode.

I have to admit, I was seriously considering deleting my SP after this week but decided to hang one for one more after seeing the previews.

Entourage I find pretentious and boring...to each his own I guess. This show is just entertaining enough to keep me watching. If the main characters are kinda boring after awhile, the peripheral characters are interesting and enough to keep me interested.

I think it did that after the first episode but I get the pun. ;)
