Ok, here is what I have: (verizon Fios)

My computer is the main one, the Fios modem is right beside mine. I have Tivo Desktop version 2.5.1

We have TWO tivo's, one is a Series 2 DT, which is just hard wired into our FIOS router, so we CAN transfer shoes.

Our other TIVO is a TIVO HD and is our main TV and gain is in our network, but is connected wirelessly with the TV wireless adaptor

AND

My wifes computer is hard wired to the FIOS modem and she has TIVO desktop version 2.7. So we have 2 computer and the TIVO 2 hard wired, all in one room, and in the living room we have our TIVO HD connected to the network wirelessly (we live in a condo)

Both Tivos work fine, connect to the internet with ease. On MY computer I can see BOTH Tivos and can download shows to my computer with NO problems!

BUT

my wife (desktop version 2.7) CAN NOT see both TIVO's!!! She can only see the old TIVO 2 (which is hard wired into FIOS router!!!) We thought maybe it was a zone alarm problem, so shut it off, but no luck!!!

I looked at the TIVO properties on mine, and made sure they were they same on hers, but no luck! ONCE she showed both Tivo's, but she had to shut the TIVO desktop down, and when she brought it back up, she could no longer see both DVR's, just the older TIVO 2!

Hope I have provided enough info! many thanks, Scott

Try restarting the unseen TiVo.

Also it could be a Bonjour problem -- See this post (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?p=7307163#post7307163).

There may be other firewalls on her computer--Windows firewall or on the router's firewall or elsewhere may that block that Tivo.

Try Using Tivo Desktop earlier version. 2.7 may be the culprit and others have problems with it. (See below ;))

Make sure ALL the computers and Tivo's are on the same network.

Seconded. Try hitting the router's admin page and make sure the TiVo is connected wirelessly. Since you live in an apartment it might be possible that you connected to a neighbor's unencrypted network unintentionally.

I set up the Tivo 2 and the TIVO HD to the network myself and I have triple checked they are on my wireless network!

I havent done anything--but earlier on this afternoon--went to my wifes computer and brought up the Desktop, and WHAMMO, it shows both TIVO's! It has done this before too. next time it may show 1 of them, or none, weird!!!
