View Full Version : Going To Vios - Can I Take TIVO

I am going to VIOS. I currently have a TIVO (I believe series 2). Will I be able to use this when I switch to VIOS. Right now I have Direct TV and just standard programming. If I can take my TIVO could I record HiDef or just standard.

If more information is needed please advise.

I think you mean FIOS.

moe info is needed on what model Series 2 - if it is one specific for DirectTV then it will not work on any other broadcaster.

If it is a plain standalone series 2 model then it will only record SD and I am not sure if it can hook up to FIOS or not.

The Series 2 will work with Fios.
