I'm trying to access my Picassa web album via TiVo. I am unable to sign in to my account. From Music, Photos & Showases => Photos & Slideshows => My Photo Accounts => Sign in to Picasa, whenever I put in my google account email and password, as prompted, I always get a "Service unavailable" message.
What's weird is I am able to go to Find Photos => Picasa web albums => "search for a picasa web album user" enter my username -- and TiVo finds my public folders on picasa. I can even add that as a favorite.
However, I cannot sign in to my google picasa account, to access all my folders.
I've contacted TS twice, and they are clueless.
Any help greatly appreciated...

I noticed this last Tuesday 07/07/09. I checked it again yesterday and it still shows unavailable.

Well, the option on the Tivo menu is called "my photo accounts" and "picassa web albums" is listed there. Since menu options don't appear by magic, and require code to even be displayed, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to say "the feature was not present when the original code was written." They may not have coded the functionality (at all, or correctly) -- but someone wrote the code to display the options!

That, and the fact it has worked for me in the past. Is Tivojerry saying it has never worked? Wow, just wow.

Yeah, I agree ... just got off hold with TS for another 35 minutes ... they were really trying; she was consulting supervisor / 2nd tier support -- no answers beyond "you might want to try again in a couple days and call back if it still doesn't work" ... lame!
