Yeah, it's termed Fraudware..... Basically, a manufacturer throws together a concept without doing their homework and later determines the product has no market or they simply can't produce/market the product with any profit.

Wow, cram a TiVo HD in there instead of a Series2 and I'd totally buy it.

(Yes, I realize it's not on the market, but I'd still buy it if it was.)

I would not buy it... even if it was HD. I don't want it integrated into my TV. I'm happy with it being stand alone.
