SOAK: Best media to save a Tivo backup file

I upgraded two of my Tivo HD's today. In the process I created 2 backup files and put them on my desktop. What is the best way/media to save these files in case I need to use them? Can they both be saved on 1 CD or DVD, or should they be separate on some other type of media?

How do you do backups for your PC and Photos?

I would keep the file in a folder somewhere on a PC and also burn a copy to a CD/DVD.

If you do not have any plans for the original hard drive you could store that also.

I just keep my backup images on a CD locally, with a backup on my Amazon S3 account.
