Tivo recording same show at same time (different then the other thread)

The other night my girlfriends show "What not to wear" was recording the show named "Amanda" in HD due to a Season pass "First-Run Only". However, at the same time the Tivo was recording the same exact show on the other tuner as a "Suggestion" though the suggestion was in SD.

While I agree that the Tivo recording reruns of shows you thumbs up is fair; I dont believe that the Tivo should ever record a show as a suggestion and a season pass at the EXACT same time hogging both tuners.

Also, is there any way to indicate to the Tivo to always record a suggestion in HD if it is available? It keeps recording Discovery suggestions in SD even though all of my season passes are setup for HD. Is this on purpose to allow the Tivo to record more suggestions?

Turn off the SD versions of stations. The way Tivo looks at programming it recorded two different shows off two different channels. This will also solve your problem with suggestions.
