Hi All,
I've got a series 1 box that I'm replacing the [almost] 10 year old drives on.
Aside from the TIVO cache/network card I installed, the box is stock with the two 30GB drives that it came with.
I've read horror stories of folks that have expanded their S1 boxes and have problems with really bad slow downs.
This leads into my question. Given the fact that I have a working cache card, can I upgrade my S1 TIVO with two 120GB drives without regretting it?
I also have a related question - are S1 boxes still limited to using the first 120GBs of the drive, or is there a hack to fix this limit?
Thanks!!
