First of all, I apologize if this thread is repetitious but I couldn't find a definitive answer. My Tivo Series 2, which I had for 8 years, finally died. Stuck at Welcome screen, all lights on...nothing happens. I had an original drive and an upgrade drive that I purchased from Weaknees.
Anyway, aif I remove these drives is there a way that I can connect them to a PC or some sort of software that could read/possibly transfer these files. If so, is there anything that would work with a MAC. If PC only, could I put these files in an external USB case and salvage the recorded programs this way.
Again, I appreciate any help as I have some programs that are very rare, and I would really like to salvage them if possible.
