Comcast shenanigans?

I just transferred 10 Transformers shows with Tivo2Go so my daughter could watch them while we are on vacation. Every one of them works fine for the first 20-21 minutes of the show, then the video goes black and I hear a commercial for Comcast. It is not always at the same exact minute, but right at 20-21 minutes, and it is always a Comcast commercial (for Starz or Digital Voice etc). As soon as the commercial is on video is lost and continues to be lost for the rest of the show. Seems awfully suspicious. Anyone else seeing this?

I have seen several similar threads. Evidently Comcast is doing something funky to the stream format when they insert local commercials. It also seems to affect conversions (see http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=425007).

AFAIK the only decent fix at this point is to be to edit out the commercials with VideoReDo or a similar product.
