Looks like it's not quite the same as pulling them off of a Dish DVR 625.

Is there a list of options for this task?

And what's the difference between TiVO and Direct TV??? :confused:

DirecTV is the satellite provider and TiVo is the DVR interface. To get the video off the hard drive you need to do a real time video capture to a DVD recorder or a video capture card in a PC..
