Have a season pass for the Bill and have looked by time and channel and it says it will racord both ( 8 pm Wed and Thurs) but we never ever get both - why should that be?
I suppose the best thing will be to sit by it at the alotted time and see if it's recording something else?

I've never had a problem with my SP for this show, though it is set to FR&R not FRO. Also, don't forget that there isn't always a show on both days; and some weeks it's not on at all :)
FWIW, both of this week's eps are scheduled to record fine here.

What does it say in "Recording History" for last week's episodes (or for upcoming episodes)?

When you setup a season pass or wishlist you have two options:
FR&R - First Run and Repeats
FRO - First Run Only
This governs if it records all episodes (FR&R) or only those first broadcast in the last 28 days (FRO).
The Recording History is the top link in the "To Do" List.

Press Tivo then 2 from Now Playing or Live TV to get there quickly.
OK - all this time & learnt something new. FRO is within the last 28 days not absolute?!
If so will change some Wishlists to FRO knowing it should still get catchup days.
Edit - Oops, missed the on topic bit!
The Bill has never missed for me, but have sat down to watch it to realise that it wasn't recorded because of football (ok) or soap awards(not so ok!)
