Records without prompting

I have a Series 2 single tuner and I've noticed around the same time everyday the Tivo will have it's red light on saying it's recording. When I turn the tv on it's recording on a different channel than it was on when I shut the tv off. When I stop the recording, it goes back to the original channel. There is nothing new in my Now Playing List and while it's recording, it doesn't say it's recording in that list either. I don't have a cable box and I don't have my Tivo set to record suggestions either. Does anyone know what's going on? It's not that much of a hassle but I'm just curious.
