I awoke this morning to find my HR10-250 with a bright green screen. There is no text (like the 'death screen') and I can hear the audio and TiVo sounds when using the remote.
I've unplugged and restarted the recorder, tried different outputs, and opened to box to blow out the dust; all to no avail. Anyone have any ideas, options, suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Do you get the "Welcome. Powering Up" or the "Just a few more minutes" messages? If not, is it possible it's your TV and not the Tivo? Can you switch to DVD/Cable/Antenna and see anything on your TV?

No, I'm not able to see them. It's not the TV. I am able to view other inputs (antenna, DVD player, etc).

You've tried different Tivo video outputs (HDMI, Component, SVideo, Composite), right? No change?
You've tried different TV inputs with the HR10-250's video source, right?
One last thing to try .... disconnect the Tivo's AC power for about 30-min. Then repower. Keep your fingers crossed.

What are you connected with...Component or HDMI? Green screen sounds like an HDMI video issue. Try a different HDMI cable or try using component.

Tried it. I think it's dead. I'll call DirecTV in the morning for the HD swap-out I guess.

Yes. Tried different connections.
