Diamonds - Anyone else watching? *SPOILERS*

Anyone else watching this? I thought it was ok, but dragged a bit. Also, the HD quality on this was extremely poor, almost looked like this was upconverted after it was filmed. The movie Blood Diamond was much better at showing how ugly the diamond business is. I'll watch the second part, but more because there's not much else on.

I watched it. Nothing else new on. I forgot The Last Templar was a rerun from last year.

I don't understand why the "head geologist" refuses to defend her actions WRT the woman and team members who were killed.

My wife is more interested in it than I am (though that isn't saying much). It is filling the gap until we start building backlog back up on our TiVo, though.

Thats about what I'm doing. I'm waiting for Netflix to deliver me S1 and S2 of Dexter so I'll have a good backlog of Dexters to get through for the next couple of weeks. I'll also have the Stanley Cup finals which I watch essentially to help keep ratings up on the NHL (well whatever info my D* box sends out anyway). That should get me through until 3 nights worth of Big Brother in July :)

We did practically the entire first season of True Blood last week, but I'm back in that "between discs" period with Netflix, due to the Memorial Day holiday. By June 10, I expect backlog to be about 7 hours, and by July 10, about 20 hours.
