For people who don't know, not all stations will be required to switch over to digital on June 12th. Low power stations may continue to broadcast in analog indefinitely. You can use this link (http://www.lptvanswers.com/local_lptv.html) to find all low power stations local to you and determine if this is something that will affect you or not.

I knew about this, but didn't check, until now. Who knew? There are two stations listed. I wonder what they're for...

Turns out the two in my area are a Spanish-language channel and a second signal for another station.

Look at what you've been missing:

WFXZ-CA - Spanish speaking

and

W40BO - rebroadcast of WBPX (ION)

Most likely very few people will be watching these stations, but I figured I'd post a FYI post any way.

There's actually 6 LP stations in my "local" area. I doubt I'll be watching any of them though since they include America One, Univision, Home Shopping and Religious programming.

I think the lack of analog pass through on many dtv converters is putting pressure on these stations to convert to digital, there are three LP stations in my area doing digital. Once flash cut over a year ago and the other two are simulcasting.

Even if a station simulcasts digital, there's no guarantee someone would be able to receive it. That's one of the downsides of digital TV, it's either all or nothing. If your analog signal was borderline (even if it was more towards the "good" side), there's a good chance the digital one won't come in at all.
