I liked the first season of In Treatment, although it definitely felt tedious at times. I watched this season for I think the first two weeks but decided I couldn't put the time in and didn't want it to jam up my Tivo. Did anyone watch all the way through--is it worth sticking through it?
Also, does anyone know if there are plans for HBO to re-run the entire season at any point? Since there's nothing really on this summer I wouldn't mind catching it if it's worth it...
I've watched it. A couple of the story lines are good but it is pretty tedious at times. I think it's worth it but it's definitely not an easy watch.

It's a wonderful series but it can be exhausting to keep up with. If you have a relatively empty TiVo after the traditional TV season, it's a good way to keep the TiVo filled with content during the summer. HBO also offers In Treatment on demand, so it may be somewhat easier to keep up with it that way.
It's a wonderful show, well acted and compelling, but I now have about 18 episodes stored up. I'm not sure I'll have enough time to slog through all the episodes before they start clogging up my Series 3.
I would say that it's a better show to get on DVD and watch that way, but I'm not sure if the first season is out and what the lag time is between season and DVD release if the first season is indeed out.

I enjoyed season one and think season two is even better. I've been watching each week's five episodes back to back and think that's the best way to view them. This season's patient's stories really affected me and I wish that it was longer than eight weeks long.
I hope there will be a season three.
I really enjoyed season 1, but find season 2 somewhat tedious, with certain exceptions. Paul's relationship with Gina is expanding nicely, and we're seeing more of his internal struggles, but the patients for the most part aren't as interesting.
I do expect to see John Mahoney nominated for an Emmy for this, but that's as much because of his past body of work and the fact that he plays his character here with so much more depth than he was ever allowed to show on Frasier as it is from his work on this show alone.

I enjoyed every episode, with April and Oliver being my favorite patients. Allison Pill is an amazing actress. The characterization on this show is so rich and complex it takes at least two viewings for me to catch all of their nuances.

I enjoyed Mia and April the most with Oliver being close behind. I liked Gina too although it had a been there done that feel to it. We stopped watching Walter after week 2. He was boring. We did the same thing with Alex in season 1.

I've enjoyed it so far, but I have about 20 episodes left. I think it took me about a year to finish season 1.

The finales were snooze inducing.

I didn't watch Season One, and had no plans to watch Season Two, but was stuck in a hotel room and caught the first episode of Mia. I found it compelling, so I set up my TiVo to get all the Mia episodes, and they continued to be compelling, right through the end. At some point, I TiVo'ed all the April episodes, and they are also excellent. I've got one more to go. I noticed that one of the HBO stations is re-showing the season, so I'm setting up to get the Oliver episodes.
It's a different way of viewing it, but it's working for me.
It's certainly a show where 25 minutes seems to go by in about 7 minutes, and for a show that's all dialogue and reaction shots that's saying something.

Just found IT, have a question:
I watched the first ep, season 1...should I just watch the episodes with Laural now in a row, or watch the shows in sequence?
Watch in sequence. Some of the episodes have reference to one another. Especially with Laura.

Just started Week 3, and this whole Mia story line is so incredibly tiresome. Tell me it gets better...

Well, that payoff did nothing for me in the end. By far the worst patient of the season, IMO, and I'd go so far as to say she was the worst of the series thus far. It's understandable, given that I hated the whole Laura arc as well and this was comparable to that in so many ways.
April and Oliver were the most compelling for me, though I have to say I'm glad this season was seven weeks instead of nine. The story lines weren't complex enough to stretch it out two more sessions, and I don't think anything they try will ever match Sophie from S1.
