sony sat t60 and the rc23

is there a way to program the rc 23 to work with my sony sat t60 directv tivo reciever?
I got the pdf file from direct tv on the remote and the codes in there dont work.
I went into the menu for my tivo and changed remote address to to 2 and nothing,
any suggestions?
my universal tivo died and i have an extra rc23 to try before i buy another remote

If you go back and set the address 1, then code to use is 00639.

1. sat
2. press and hold MUTE & SELECT, wait for two blinks
3. enter 0 0 6 3 9

i did just that and still wont work, dtv gave me alt codes 01639, 01640
they didnt work either.
