Ugly Betty Season Finale 05/21/2009 *Spoilers*

I just love this show !!!!! Was nice to see Henry again. He's looking GOOD! But, I wanted to scream... Betty kissing him.

So - her "boyfriend" is now her boss? Wonder if he's the new Editor and she's going to go back to being Daniel's Assistant?

I was really hoping that they would just make Betty and Mark Co-Editor's. They both deserve it. I just love watching Betty, Mark and Amanda together. I love that trio!

So ... Mrs. Mead has another son out there ??? I was in tears... too - at the end of the show... So sad for Daniel.

I can't wait for September! New Season to start!

I was hoping they'd keep Molly around for a little longer. Was good to see a change in Daniel. Now he'll just go back to his flamboyant ways.

So much for a hiring freeze at Mead publications if they can make the boyfriend (who has no real experience in doing anything useful) a manager.

Mr. Boyfriend's Dad seems to have an awful lot of time on his hands for someone who could barely give Daniel 5min of his time a little while ago, if he's flopping around Mode.

You did pick up that the dad now owns a stake in Meade, having bailed it out? I think he can get around any hiring freeze in place at a company he's part owner of. Same reason he's been there several times now, it's an investment he needs to make sure brings returns.

I understand the show is called "Ugly Betty" but I wish they'd give her a break and allow her to grow up a bit. She is a great girl but the way she dresses, combs her hair, flashes her braces, I find it hard to believe she would catch all these guys.

Oh, I knew that. But I figured that was a small amount of change he threw in. Maybe it was big (it is a big publishing company), but how big as compared to the rest of his net worth, who knows.

As I believe I stated in another thread, considering Betty's been at Mode for a few years by now (a FASHION magazine) you'd think she'd have picked up a thing or two about how to dress.

Glad to see a thread for this show again (yeah, I know, why didn't I start any then?)! ;)

Thoroughly enjoy every episode and this season finale was no different.

Can I just say how HOT Vanessa Williams looks? She is one of the main reasons I watch the show. I love it when she's evil but also I have to admit I do like when they have her show signs of being human (for instance her genuine hug with Mark!). There was a point this season when she was nice almost every episode -- I started to wonder if she was ever going to be bitchy again! :)

Mr. Boyfriend reminds me of a young Richard Gere.

I didn't think it would happen, but I've actually grown tired of Justin. Although they did make an attempt to give him an interesting subplot this episode -- most of the time he has just been kitschy window dressing. SO did he actually come out to Mark in this episode???

I know I'm weird but I miss having the show shot in Los Angeles. It was always cool to see the practically seamless green screen work Stargate Digital did for the show. They're still involved, just not nearly as much as they used to be.
