Dropped my TivoHD remote(on carpeted floor), now the volume and TV power buttons dont work. Channel buttons and Tivo central work. it lets me go through the menus. Never saw a remote do this. Either they work or don't. Never partial. Even tried reprogramming...nothing. What does Tivo charge for a replacement? Is there a warranty on this unit that would cover the remote?

$50 for the Glo remote - store.tivo.com (http://store.tivo.com/) I doubt the warranty covers abuse, but if you're within the warranty period (90 says, I think), it's worth a call.

I would first try a global reset of the remote and see if that works.
