Black Screen on SDV Channels

I read about this problem a few months ago, but since I was not experiencing it very often I did not think much about it. Now it's happening quite frequently. I am curious if this is still happening to others.

I have a TivoHD, with a SA Tuning Adapter and one MCard. Occasionally, when I tune to an SDV channel I will get a black screen. If I use the remote to increment the channel by two, wait for it to tune, then decrement the channel by two (so that I am back to the channel that displayed the black screen) it will then tune correctly.

Does anyone know what is the root cause of this problem (TivoHD, MCard, or TA) and if there is a fix?

Despite my Victor address I am also on the Perinton TW system, and experience the same problem. Sure wish they'd get it fixed.

My TA has disrupted so many primetime show that I had to unplug it until a fix comes in.

I'd just like to know which component is the root cause of the problem, so that I know who to complain to. :-(
