Deleted Suggestions folder items, now it won't any new shows.

Have a Series 3 HD, I decided to delete all of the items in my suggestions folder because I did not like any of the item hoping it would add some different shows. Now the suggestions folder has been empty for a few days and I don't know how to turn suggestions back on so it will add items.

Just go to the suggestions area from the menu, then pick which ones you want to see after reading each. This is a lot better way to use suggestions anyway. I think when you deleted without looking at them it made like a thumbs down for that kind of show. Go give some shows you like a thumbs up and you should have suggestions soon. But still you can leave them off and the list is still there, then pick ones you really want to see only. Works well.

In the Recording Settings Menu (Messages & Settings - Settings - Recording), is TiVo Suggestions set for "Yes"?

I rarely get anything in the suggestions folder (maybe a few shows a month) but it's because I have so many season passes and other items scheduled to be recorded that there's no room for suggestions. Setting a lot of shows to "Save until I delete" also does it.

It is my understanding that Tivo won't record suggestions if it means deleting your other programs earlier.

I really never delete anything off of my Tivos. I just let the shows scroll off on their own, thus, it's rare that it records suggestions.
